Applying for an
Exit Visa is a difficult task if you are not familiar with online filling and documents and image size editing. An Exit Visa is issued by the FRRO, so you must apply on the E-FRRO portal in India. The applicant needs to register their email and Passport, and after that, they need to choose their Country, FRRO, and Service. Once they select all these options, they need to select their visa type and reason for overstaying in India. 


Then click on the next button and fill in the personal details like name, parents' name, religion, date of birth, outside India address, complete address in India, passport details, visa details, date of embarkation in India, place of arrival, date of arrival in India, and date of expected departure. After all these details, the applicant needs to upload passport-sized photographs and documents in PDF format. 


After the process, click on the submit button and wait for further instructions from the FRRO.


FRRO can ask for additional documents, so keep checking your email and application status. If you get an extra document request or clarification request, you have to immediately complete that request. 


If you ignore that, they will send you a reminder, but if you are still unable to complete the request, then FRRO can cancel your application. If you have submitted all the correct details and documents, they will open the payment gateway. Once you complete the payment, you will receive your certificate/exit visa on your registered email.
